About Us
Clevedon and District Road Club is a cycle club based in Clevedon serving North Somerset, drawing members from Portishead, Nailsea, Backwell, Congresbury and beyond. It was founded in 1952 and puts on weekly rides all year round.
CDRC is is affiliated to both Cycling UK, British Cycling and CTT.
Riding
The main club rides are on a Sunday, with members meeting at Clevedon Triangle and then riding in a single group at an easy pace to the pick up point, where we split into 6 groups, based on speed.
During the summer months we also run a 10mile TT on Tuesday evenings.
Members of the Club also participate in a variety of non road cycling, including Track, Cyclocross, Mountain Biking.
