– Chaingang training rides on a Wednesday;
– TOGS coffee and lunch on Thursday;

Last Saturday is a good example with the Tour  of Mendips 100 mile sportive – a route that took in climbs up  Ebbor Gorge, Burrington Coombe. & Cheddar Gorge – with a mixture of lumpy and flat in-between.

The Club TT – 10 miles (go on, give it a go) saw the Club Championship 2019 on 16th July, with the many turning out to support as well as ride, inc local journalists…https://www.northsomersettimes.co.uk/sport/clevedon-members-make-most-of-conditions-1-6173441 … who summed up the result well in their article along with some recent noticeable achievements elsewhere …

Gareth Jones took the men’s trophy with a time of 23 minutes 35 seconds, while Sara James clocked 27.34 for the women’s title.

Chrissy Attenborough was close behind on 27.58, while George Hazell (30.51) and Alex Wahab (28.24) took the schoolboy and junior honours.

Wahab had finished eighth at the Welsh National Track Championships.

Brothers Joe and Tom Taylor won the senior and under-14 races at the Seaton festival, while local riders put in some fine performances at the national 50 and 100-mile time trial championships.

Former World Tour pro Marcin Bialoblocki won both events, but Portishead’s Arthur Franklin was fifth and third and Clevedon’s Tommy Barlow impressed in the shorter race.
