We may be a little mad but that much, so no not that dry January – after all getting back on the bike after a few weeks of overindulgence is hard enough for some, never mind further hardship – the dry bit relates to that cyclist’s favourite, the weather.
A carefully thought out runs list (2019 one now available) meant the first ride of 2019 headed for Uphill (rather than up hill) allowing for a variety of routes depending on the weather – the dry, cool conditions meant both groups found some circuitous, but very enjoyable, routes to coffee, with a brisk pace ensuring the cake scoffing from previous weeks could continue a little longer.
Refreshed and warmed more direct return routes were followed taking in the Somerset coastline, before returning to Congresbury. A good start to the year, so fingers crossed the dry January continues
