Another good turnout today, with riders enjoying blasts of sunshine as and reasonable quiet roads across the levels en route to Mark
Whilst a convenient stop but a little variable re the cakes and coffee, today was a good day with great service, enjoyable cakes and fairly decent coffee, replenishing the energy levels are a slightly faster than usual blast, taking advantage of the flattish profile.
A regular cadre of riders is now turning out most week to form the Touring Group, and spurred on by sitting in the sun too long decided there hadn’t been enough climbing on the way out so would ‘do’ Cheddar for fun on the way home – the intermediates opted for a longer, flatter and reasonably paced return via the seaside.
