As part of increasing our membership and becoming more diverse we are now going to run a ladies only group on some sundays alongside the regular rides – this will be led by one of our experienced female riders…
CDRC Ladies
New Intermediate Ladies group Sunday mornings twice monthly. The rides will run along side existing club rides starting from Clevedon at 08:30 & picking up en route at the Ship & Castle Car Park, Congresbury at 08:55 The average pace will be around 14-15mph & distance 50-60 miles Please check rides list for dates, or see below for dates – get in touch to let us know if you’d like to come along either via Facebook or on the website, using the Contact Form

This is an intermediate group – you will need a road bike, a helmet. As a rough guide, if you can ride alone for 30-35miles at around 13-14mph then the pace should be OK for you (you can use free apps such as Strava or Ride With GPS to check this).
All riders remain personally responsible for abiding by the rules of the road and for their own safety.
Ride leaders will lead and do their best to keep group together. Please ensure you let other riders know if you are leaving the group or if you need to stop, or you are struggling to hold the pace.
On steep or long hills, the group will naturally spread out. All riders will re-group at the top of the hill, out the way of traffic, waiting for everyone to come back together before setting off again.
